Obsolete & discontinued parts

Obsolete and discontinued automation parts — located fast, verified before they ship

The manufacturer says “discontinued”. Your usual supplier quotes six months. That is where we start. Send us a part number or a photo of the nameplate: we search a global network of surplus and last-time-buy stock in parallel and give you a documented answer within 48 hours.

Why discontinued parts take so long through normal channels

A typical trading route follows one line: manufacturer → authorized distributor → sub-distributor. The moment the manufacturer answers “end of life, no stock”, that line is a dead end, and what follows is usually a few emails to personal contacts — often weeks of waiting.

In reality, stock of discontinued parts still exists. It sits scattered around the world: the last new units at authorized distributors in other countries, independent stocking distributors in Europe and North America, and unused maintenance spares released when factories upgrade or close lines. None of it is visible from the single authorized route. How fast you can reach that hidden stock decides your lead time.

Our three-layer inventory network

From the moment we receive your request, we search all three layers at the same time — not one after another.

1. Independent stocking distributors

Direct access to inventory databases of distributors in Europe and North America that specialise in end-of-life and excess stock — stock that is invisible from domestic channels.

2. Authorized distributor remnants

We query authorized distributors across countries for their remaining new stock. This route usually has the most complete documentation, so we always check it first.

3. Factory surplus market

Unused maintenance spares released after line closures and upgrades. This is where rare parts are often found — and where authentication matters most.

Across all three layers we only offer stock that passes supplier vetting and document traceability checks, part of our five-step inspection process. If a part is found but its origin cannot be traced, we do not offer it.

Legacy families we are often asked for

Siemens SIMATIC S5 and S7-300 / ET 200M

For S7-300 and ET 200M, Siemens set the product phase-out announcement for 1 October 2023, with new components until 1 October 2025 and spare parts planned until at least 1 October 2033. We supply spares and plan migrations to S7-1500 / ET 200SP — see our S7-300 end-of-life guide.

Mitsubishi Electric MELSEC legacy series

Older MELSEC CPUs, I/O and communication modules, plus GOT operator panels found on machines that are still running across Asia — see our MELSEC legacy guide.

Allen-Bradley, Omron, Schneider and others

Legacy PLC racks, I/O cards, drives, HMIs and instruments from the major brands — send the part number and we will check all three layers.

Buy spares, or migrate?

Buying a discontinued part keeps a line running today; it does not remove the risk. If a system depends on a family that has entered phase-out, we recommend securing critical spares now and planning a staged migration. Our engineers in Vietnam handle PLC and SCADA migration — converting programs, replacing I/O and commissioning with minimal downtime.

Frequently asked questions

How fast do you answer a request for a discontinued part?

We give a documented first answer within 48 hours: identification of the part, availability across our three-layer network, condition, quantity, lead time and price.

Are obsolete parts new or used?

The condition is stated clearly on every quotation, for example factory new or new surplus. We do not offer stock whose origin cannot be traced.

Can you ship discontinued parts outside Vietnam?

Yes. We ship worldwide on EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP terms and prepare export documentation in Vietnam. Certificate of Conformance and origin declarations are available on request.

What information do you need?

The full part number, quantity and delivery country. If the label is unreadable, a photo of the nameplate is enough for us to start.

Send us a part number, a BOM or a drawing.

Our engineers reply within one business day with availability, lead time and alternatives where they save you cost or time.
