Overview
The Delta ASDA-B3 is the general-purpose servo series succeeding the ASDA-B2, with higher bandwidth (3.1 kHz), 24-bit absolute encoders and built-in Safe Torque Off. The ASD-B3-0421-L is the 400 W drive for 220 V supply with pulse-train (up to 4 MHz), analog and internal position register command modes; the -M variant adds CANopen/DMCNET and the -E variant EtherCAT. Paired with the ECM-B3 motor it offers auto-tuning, vibration suppression and gain adjustment in ASDA-Soft, plus a standard 24 V brake output. Typical uses are indexing conveyors, feeders, pick-and-place axes and labelling machines; the drive dimensions match the B2 for easy replacement.
