Overview
The Delta DVP-SS2 is the entry model of the DVP slim series, a 14-point PLC for small machines and panel logic. The DVP14SS211R has 8 digital inputs and 6 relay outputs, 8k steps of program memory, built-in RS-232 and RS-485 ports with Modbus ASCII/RTU, and 24 V DC supply in a 70 mm wide housing. It expands with DVP-S series digital, analog and temperature modules on the right, and supports high-speed counters and pulse outputs (transistor version -T). Programming is in WPLSoft or ISPSoft (ladder, SFC, IL) with the same instruction set as the larger DVP-SA2/SX2/SE models, so programs migrate easily.

Can the DVP14SS2 connect to an Ethernet HMI?
Not directly — it has serial ports only. Use RS-485 to a DOP HMI, or an IFD9507 Ethernet converter; for Ethernet PLCs choose the DVP-SE or AS series.
Does it replace the older DVP14SS11R?
Yes. The SS2 generation is backward compatible with SS programs and I/O wiring with faster execution and more memory.
