Overview
The FX5U is the successor to the FX3U and is the default compact PLC in Japanese-invested factories across Vietnam. The 32MR/ES model runs on 100–240 V AC with relay outputs, which suits valve and contactor loads; pick FX5U-32MT/ES for transistor outputs when you need pulse-train positioning. Ethernet, RS-485 (MODBUS RTU / inverter communication), two analog inputs and one analog output are built in, so most small machines need no expansion modules. Programming is in GX Works3 with structured ladder and ST.
