Bürkert Type 6213 EV Servo-Assisted Solenoid Valve (6213 A 13,0 NBR MS G1/2 24V DC) — product card

Overview

The Bürkert Type 6213 is the workhorse servo-assisted solenoid valve for water, air and neutral fluids, from DN10 to DN65 in brass or stainless steel. The EV (energy-saving) version uses a coupled diaphragm that opens from 0.1 bar differential pressure, and the Kick-and-Drop coil electronics reduce holding power by around 75 %, keeping the coil cool and extending service life. Seal materials NBR, FKM and EPDM cover drinking water, hot water and light chemicals; ACS, WRAS and KTW approvals are available for potable water. The 24 V DC G1/2 NBR example is the most common configuration in water-treatment skids and cooling systems.

Key features

  • 2/2-way, normally closed (NO version available); DN10–DN65, G3/8 to G2-1/2
  • Servo-assisted coupled diaphragm: opens from 0.1 bar, 0.1–16 bar operating pressure
  • Kick-and-Drop coil: reduced holding power, lower temperature, longer life
  • Body brass or 316L; seals NBR, FKM, EPDM; drinking-water approvals
  • Coils 24 V DC, 24/230 V AC; IP65 with cable plug; ATEX option

Typical applications

  • Water treatment and filtration skids
  • Cooling-water and process-water shut-off
  • Compressed air and inert gas lines
  • Irrigation and washing systems

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum pressure the 6213 needs to open?

The EV version with coupled diaphragm opens from 0.1 bar differential pressure. For zero differential (gravity flow or suction) a direct-acting valve such as Type 6013 or a forced-lift valve is required.

Which seal material should I use?

NBR for water, air and oils up to 90 °C; EPDM for hot water, steam condensate and alkalis; FKM for fuels, solvents and higher temperatures. We check the medium before quoting.

Is the Type 6213 available from stock, and what is the lead time?

Common brass sizes with 24 V DC or 230 V AC coils are usually 1–2 weeks; stainless and ATEX versions 3–5 weeks. We confirm with the quotation.

Send us a part number, a BOM or a drawing.

Our engineers reply within one business day with availability, lead time and alternatives where they save you cost or time.
