Bürkert Type 8025 Paddle-Wheel Flow Meter / Transmitter (8025 compact DN25 PVDF 4–20 mA) — product card

Overview

The Bürkert Type 8025 is an insertion paddle-wheel flow transmitter for clean liquids where a magnetic flowmeter is not needed — deionised water, chemicals, cooling water and dosing lines. The sensor fits Bürkert S020 fittings in PVC, PP, PVDF, brass or stainless from DN6 to DN400, so one transmitter covers most line sizes. Accuracy is ±0.5 % of full scale after teach-in, with 4–20 mA and pulse outputs plus two relays for batching or alarms, and the compact version includes a local display with flow rate and two totalizers. The PVDF sensor version handles aggressive chemicals; the 316L version suits higher temperatures and pressures. Compact or remote (wall/panel) transmitter versions are available.

Key features

  • Paddle-wheel measurement 0.3–10 m/s, accuracy ±0.5 % FS after teach-in
  • S020 insertion fitting system DN6–DN400 in PVC, PP, PVDF, brass, 316L
  • 4–20 mA and pulse outputs, 2 relays; batch controller version (8025 Batch)
  • Display with flow rate, resettable and non-resettable totalizers
  • Sensor in PVDF or 316L; IP65 housing; 12–30 V DC or 115/230 V AC

Typical applications

  • Deionised and ultrapure water in electronics plants
  • Chemical dosing and batch filling
  • Cooling-water distribution monitoring
  • Irrigation and water-treatment skids

Frequently asked questions

Which fitting do I need for the 8025?

The sensor needs a Bürkert S020 fitting matched to your pipe material and size (DN6–DN400). We quote fitting and transmitter together so the installation is complete.

Does the 8025 work with deionised water?

Yes. The paddle wheel does not need conductivity, which is its main advantage over magnetic flowmeters for DI and ultrapure water.

Is the Type 8025 available from stock, and what is the lead time?

Compact 4–20 mA versions with PVDF sensor are typically 1–3 weeks including the fitting. We confirm with the quotation.

Send us a part number, a BOM or a drawing.

Our engineers reply within one business day with availability, lead time and alternatives where they save you cost or time.
