Overview
The Bürkert Type 8692 is a digital electropneumatic positioner that mounts directly on Bürkert pneumatically actuated control valves — Type 2300 globe, Type 2301 angle seat, Type 2103 diaphragm — forming a compact control valve without external tubing. The contactless position sensor and auto-tune function commission the loop in minutes; the setpoint comes as 4–20 mA, PROFIBUS DP, DeviceNet, IO-Link or büS/CANopen, and a 4–20 mA or binary position feedback returns to the PLC. The Type 8693 variant adds a built-in PID process controller that closes the loop directly against a flow, pressure or temperature transmitter. Available in PA or stainless-steel housing with IP65/67 and ATEX options.
