Overview
The Micropilot FMR60B is the current 80 GHz free-space radar for liquid level in storage and process tanks. The narrow 3° beam passes through small nozzles and ignores agitators, heating coils and build-up on the wall; the high dynamic range handles foam and condensation. Commissioning is done from a phone with Bluetooth and the SmartBlue app, and Heartbeat Technology verifies the instrument without emptying the tank. FMR60B is an ordering family — antenna, process connection, output and approvals are set in the full code.
