- 5/2-way
- 24 V DC

Overview
The Festo VUVG is a compact, universal solenoid valve family for in-line or manifold use in widths of 10, 14 and 18 mm, covering 5/2 monostable and bistable, 5/3 and 2×3/2 functions. The VUVG-L10-M52-MT-M5-1P3 is a 10 mm 5/2-way single-solenoid valve with M5 working ports, 24 V DC coil with plug connection and a nominal flow of 200 l/min, with a pushing/latching manual override and an LED on the coil. It mounts individually on a sub-base or on VUVG manifolds, and with the VTUG valve terminal variant it integrates into fieldbus systems. The L-series uses a metal body for durability; the B-series (VUVG-B) is the plastic economy version.
Key features
- 5/2-way monostable, 10 mm width, 200 l/min nominal flow
- M5 working ports (in-line) or manifold mounting; VTUG terminal compatible
- 24 V DC coil 1 W with plug and LED; manual override pushing/latching
- Pressure 1.5–8 bar (pilot internal) or -0.9–10 bar with external pilot
- Metal body (L-series), 100 million switching cycles design life
Typical applications
- Controlling small cylinders and grippers on assembly machines
- Pick-and-place and labelling stations
- Packaging machines with many valves on manifolds
- Replacement of MFH/CPE valves in compact designs

Frequently asked questions
Can VUVG valves be mounted on a manifold with fieldbus?
Yes. The VTUG valve terminal uses VUVG valves and is available with multi-pin, IO-Link, PROFINET and other fieldbus connections via the CTEU interface.
What does monostable mean for my application?
The valve returns to its rest position when the coil is de-energised — the cylinder retracts on power loss. For "stay in last position" behaviour choose the bistable (double-solenoid) version.
Is the VUVG available from stock, and what is the lead time?
Standard 10 and 14 mm 5/2 valves at 24 V DC are usually 1–2 weeks from regional stock. We confirm with the quotation.
