UB800 Ultrasonic Sensor M18
Part number UB800-18GM40-E5-V1
Ultrasonic proximity sensor, 50–800 mm sensing range, independent of colour and transparency, PNP output, M18 housing, M12 connector.
- CE
- UL
- RoHS
- REACH

Overview
Ultrasonic sensors solve the detection tasks that defeat photoelectric sensors: clear films and bottles, liquids, dark absorbent surfaces and dusty environments. The UB800-18GM40-E5-V1 measures distance to 800 mm with a temperature-compensated transducer, teaches switch points by push button or teach wire, and comes in a compact M18 nickel-plated brass housing with an M12 connector.
Key features
- 50…800 mm sensing range, unaffected by colour or transparency
- Temperature-compensated for stable accuracy
- Push-button and wire teach of switch points, NO/NC programmable
- M18 metal housing, IP67, M12 4-pin connector
- Synchronization of multiple sensors to avoid crosstalk
Typical applications
- Clear-film and bottle detection
- Liquid level in small vessels
- Roll diameter monitoring
- Height verification
