Banner Engineering DXM700-B1R1 Wireless Controller with ISM Radio (DXM700-B1R1) — product card

Overview

The Banner DXM700 is an industrial wireless controller that gathers data from Sure Cross wireless nodes and Modbus devices, runs local logic and pushes data to SCADA or the cloud. The DXM700-B1R1 includes a 2.4 GHz ISM radio (the -B1R3 variant uses 900 MHz) that connects up to dozens of wireless nodes for tank level, pump run status, temperature and vibration, plus Ethernet, RS-485 Modbus and a cellular modem option. Logic is configured in the free DXM Configuration Software (actions, timers, email/SMS alarms), and the controller publishes data via Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, MQTT or HTTP push to Banner Cloud Data Services or any IoT platform. It is a quick way to monitor equipment without cabling or PLC programming.

Key features

  • Sure Cross 2.4 GHz radio (900 MHz variant) to connect wireless sensor nodes without cable
  • Modbus RTU master/slave, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP; cellular (LTE) modem option
  • Local logic with DXM Configuration Software: actions, timers, email/SMS alarms
  • Cloud push via HTTP/MQTT to Banner CDS or third-party platforms; data logging to SD card
  • DIN-rail housing, 12–30 V DC; I/O base with discrete, analog and relay channels

Typical applications

  • Tank-level and pump monitoring across a plant or tank farm
  • Temperature and vibration monitoring of motors and compressors
  • Remote equipment status to SCADA without trenching cable
  • OEE and machine-state data collection

Frequently asked questions

Which wireless nodes work with the DXM700?

Banner Sure Cross DX80 and MultiHop nodes, Q45 wireless sensors and the wireless vibration/temperature sensors; they must use the same radio band (2.4 GHz or 900 MHz) as the controller.

Can the DXM700 send data to my existing SCADA?

Yes. All data is available as Modbus TCP registers or EtherNet/IP, and the controller can also push to a cloud dashboard in parallel.

Is the DXM700 available from stock, and what is the lead time?

Typically 2–3 weeks together with the wireless nodes. We confirm with the quotation.

Send us a part number, a BOM or a drawing.

Our engineers reply within one business day with availability, lead time and alternatives where they save you cost or time.
