Overview
The UC-2112-LX is a palm-sized Linux computer for the edge of an IIoT network: it polls PLCs and meters over Modbus or OPC UA, buffers the data and publishes it to a broker or cloud over MQTT. Moxa Industrial Linux (Debian-based) comes with 10 years of security patches, which matters for devices that stay in the field for a decade. Two LAN ports let you separate the OT and IT networks, two serial ports connect legacy devices, and the fanless design runs from -40 to +70 °C.
