Overview

The Banner Q4X is a multi-purpose laser distance sensor in a 316L stainless housing rated IP67/IP68/IP69K, built for washdown and harsh environments. The Q4XTBLAF300-Q8 covers 25 to 300 mm with 1 mm repeatability and detects targets regardless of colour, material or surface finish; its dual-mode operation detects transparent objects, verifies presence or orientation and measures with IO-Link. Two discrete outputs (PNP/NPN selectable) and a bright four-digit display with a simple three-button setup make it quick to commission; the "F" version adds foreground suppression. It is used for part-in-place checks, clear bottle detection, fill-level inspection and height verification.
