Overview
The Banner EZ-SCREEN LS is a Type 4 (PL e / SIL3) safety light curtain designed for simple installation: no controller, no DIP switches and no software — alignment is shown by LEDs along the full length of the housing, and the emitter/receiver pair connects directly to a safety relay or safety PLC. The SLLE30-600Q88 / SLLR30-600Q88 pair has 30 mm resolution for hand detection, 600 mm protective height and up to 12 m range, with cascading for L- and U-shaped guarding and integrated EDM. Protective heights from 280 to 1,820 mm and 14/23/30/40 mm resolutions cover finger, hand and body applications; the slim 30 × 35 mm housing is IP65/67.

No. The receiver OSSD outputs connect directly to a safety relay (e.g. Banner SC26, Omron G9SE) or safety PLC input; EDM is built in.
