Overview
Micro Motion F-Series meters are compact, self-draining Coriolis flowmeters for installations where space is tight or hygiene matters. The F050 covers nominal 1/2-inch lines with liquid mass flow accuracy of ±0.10 % of rate and density accuracy of ±0.002 g/cm³, measuring mass, volume, density and temperature in one device with no straight-run requirement. Combined with a 2700 or 5700 transmitter it provides batch control, concentration measurement and Smart Meter Verification for in-situ health checks. The example code is a 316L sensor with integral transmitter and ATEX approval; we configure sensor size, wetted material, transmitter and I/O against your fluid and flow range.

Should I choose the F-Series or the ELITE CMF series?
ELITE offers ±0.05 % accuracy and the best low-flow performance for custody transfer and demanding density applications. The F-Series gives ±0.10 % in a compact, drainable body at lower cost, which is adequate for most dosing and batching loops. We quote by required accuracy and installation space.
Does the F050 need straight pipe upstream and downstream?
No. Coriolis measurement is independent of flow profile, so the meter can be installed directly after elbows, valves or pumps — one of its main advantages over magnetic and vortex meters.
Is the Micro Motion F050 available from stock, and what is the lead time?
