Yaskawa SGD7S-R90A00A002 Sigma-7 Servo Amplifier 100 W (SGD7S-R90A00A002) — product card

Overview

The Yaskawa Sigma-7 is the benchmark servo series for precision motion: 3.1 kHz speed bandwidth, 24-bit absolute encoders and tuning-less control that reaches stable operation without adjustment in most machines. The SGD7S-R90A00A002 is the 100 W 200 V single-axis amplifier with analog voltage and pulse-train reference (the -000 variant) in its most common form; MECHATROLINK-III (-10A) and EtherCAT (-A0A) versions use the same hardware. Built-in STO, vibration suppression, ripple compensation and a 500 kHz pulse input are standard, and SigmaWin+ provides tuning and monitoring. Matching motors are the SGM7J (medium inertia) and SGM7A (low inertia) in 100 W with 24-bit encoders.

Key features

  • 100 W, 1 × 200–240 V; analog ±10 V and pulse-train (500 kHz) reference
  • Speed bandwidth 3.1 kHz; 24-bit absolute encoder; tuning-less function
  • Built-in STO SIL3 / PL e; vibration suppression, ripple compensation
  • SigmaWin+ software via USB; 7 DI, 3 DO configurable
  • Compatible with SGM7J-01 and SGM7A-01 motors; MECHATROLINK-III and EtherCAT variants

Typical applications

  • Semiconductor and electronics assembly axes
  • High-speed pick-and-place
  • Precision positioning tables
  • Replacement of Sigma-5 amplifiers

Frequently asked questions

Which motor matches the SGD7S-R90A?

The 100 W Sigma-7 motors: SGM7J-01A (medium inertia, 3,000 rpm) or SGM7A-01A (low inertia); we quote motor, encoder and power cables and battery for absolute operation.

Can it replace a Sigma-5 SGDV-R90A?

Yes. The SGD7S has the same mounting footprint and compatible I/O connector; Sigma-5 motors can be kept in most cases while upgrading the amplifier.

Is the Sigma-7 available from stock, and what is the lead time?

Typically 2–4 weeks from Yaskawa regional stock for drive and motor sets. We confirm with the quotation.

Send us a part number, a BOM or a drawing.

Our engineers reply within one business day with availability, lead time and alternatives where they save you cost or time.
