Overview
The Yaskawa GA700 is the full-featured industrial drive from 0.55 to 630 kW, with closed-loop vector control (encoder option card) for applications that need full torque at zero speed, such as cranes, hoists, extruders and winders. The GA70B4031ABB is the 15 kW 400 V model (31 A heavy duty, 38 A normal duty) with built-in EMC filter, DC-link choke and dynamic-braking transistor to 30 kW, STO to SIL3 / PL e and Modbus RTU; the same option cards as the GA500 add PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and other networks. Functions include DriveWorksEZ graphical programming, energy-saving control, KEB ride-through and a 10-year design life at 50 °C with reduced-size heatsink-out mounting.
