SIRIUS 3RW52 Soft Starter 7.5 kW
Part number 3RW5213-1AC04
Soft starter with torque control and pump stop, 7.5 kW / 18 A at 400 V, internal bypass, 24 V DC control.
- CE
- UL
- cULus
- RoHS

Overview
Where a motor only needs to start and stop gently — pumps, fans, conveyors at fixed speed — a soft starter is cheaper and simpler than a VFD. The SIRIUS 3RW52 adds torque control and a pump-stop function that avoids water hammer, has internal bypass contacts to eliminate heat during run, and reports diagnostics via a communication module if required. The 3RW5213-1AC04 is rated 18 A (7.5 kW at 400 V) with 24 V DC control voltage.
Key features
- Torque control for smooth start and stop; pump-stop function
- Internal bypass — no external bypass contactor needed
- Adjustable current limit and motor overload protection
- Optional PROFINET / PROFIBUS / Modbus communication module and HMI
- Width 55 mm, DIN-rail or screw mounting
Typical applications
- Pump start/stop without water hammer
- Fan control
- Conveyor soft start
- Compressor starting
