Overview
The Yaskawa MP3300iec is a machine controller that combines PLC logic with multi-axis motion for up to 62 axes on MECHATROLINK-III, programmed to IEC 61131-3 with PLCopen motion function blocks in MotionWorks IEC. The CPU-301 module runs a 1 ms cycle for 16 axes (scalable), communicates with HMIs and supervisory systems via EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and OPC UA, and supports camming, gearing, phase shifting and interpolation for packaging, printing and material-handling machines. Local I/O and expansion modules attach on the base, and the controller integrates Sigma-7 servos and GA drives on the same MECHATROLINK-III network with automatic configuration.
