EchoPod DL14 Ultrasonic Level Transmitter
Part number DL14-00
Reflective ultrasonic level transmitter for small tanks, 12.5 cm to 3 m range, 4–20 mA plus four relay-equivalent switch outputs, PVDF body, configured via WebCal.
- CE
- IP68
- 4–20 mA
- PVDF

Overview
The Flowline EchoPod DL14 is a compact non-contact ultrasonic level transmitter for small chemical, water and wastewater tanks up to 3 m. Its reflective transducer design lets it measure close to the sensor face — a 12.5 cm dead band — and the PVDF housing is compatible with most chemicals. Besides the 4–20 mA level output the DL14 provides four digital switch outputs that can replace separate float switches for high/low alarms or pump control, and all settings are made on a PC with Flowline's free WebCal software and the USB fob. It is widely used on day tanks, dosing skids and IBC-based chemical feed systems.
Key features
- Non-contact ultrasonic level, range 12.5 cm to 3 m, ±0.2 % of span accuracy
- Four switch outputs plus 4–20 mA — replaces float switches for alarms and pump control
- Reflective PVDF transducer, 2 in NPT or G2 mount, IP68
- Configured with WebCal software and USB fob; no manual setup on site
- Low cost; suited to chemical day tanks, sumps and skids
Typical applications
- Chemical day tanks and dosing skids
- IBC and tote level monitoring
- Sumps and small wastewater tanks
- Pump control in small lift stations

Frequently asked questions
How do the switch outputs work?
Each of the four outputs is set in WebCal to a level and a function — high alarm, low alarm, pump start/stop — so the DL14 can run a simple duty/standby pump control without a PLC.
Does ultrasonic work in a tank with foam or vapour?
Light vapour is fine; dense foam or heavy vapour (e.g. hot sodium hypochlorite) absorbs the ultrasonic pulse. For those tanks we recommend the EchoPulse LR radar series.
Is the DL14 available from stock, and what is the lead time?
We hold EchoPod transmitters in Vietnam; typical delivery is 1–2 weeks, including WebCal pre-configuration. We confirm with the quotation.
