Overview
The EchoPod DL24 extends the EchoPod series to 6 m, covering standard chemical storage tanks, water tanks and sumps. Like the DL14 it combines a 4–20 mA level output with four configurable switch outputs, so one sensor delivers continuous level to the SCADA and local high/low alarms or pump control. The reflective PVDF transducer resists most chemicals including sulphuric acid, caustic and hypochlorite, and the 2-inch mounting fits standard tank bungs and flanges. Configuration is done with WebCal on a PC: tank height, output scaling and switch points are entered once and stored in the sensor.

Frequently asked questions
Can the DL24 be mounted on a plastic tank through a bung?
Yes. The 2 in NPT thread screws into standard polyethylene tank bungs; we recommend a riser to keep the sensor face above the maximum level plus the 20 cm dead band.
What happens if the tank is over-filled into the dead band?
The sensor holds the last valid reading and the switch outputs keep their state; WebCal lets you define fail-safe behaviour for the 4–20 mA output.
