Overview
The Flowline Switch-Tek LZ12 is a vibrating tuning-fork level switch for high or low level alarm, overfill prevention and pump protection in tanks, sumps and pipes. The 316L stainless fork detects liquid regardless of density, conductivity, foam or light coating, with no moving parts to stick and no calibration. It is supplied in a compact IP68 housing with a relay output and a selectable fail-safe (high or low) mode, in 3/4 in NPT with optional extension for mounting through a tank top. The LZ12 is a common replacement for float switches in chemical and wastewater tanks where fouling or density change causes false trips.

Frequently asked questions
Does the LZ12 need adjustment for different liquids?
No. The fork switches when covered by any liquid with density above 0.7 g/cm³; there are no settings except the fail-safe mode selector.
Can it be used in corrosive chemicals?
The 316L version covers most water-treatment chemicals; for hydrochloric acid, hypochlorite or ferric chloride we recommend the polypropylene LZ22.
Is the LZ12 available from stock, and what is the lead time?
