FS-N11N Digital Fibre Optic Amplifier
Part number FS-N11N
Digital fibre amplifier, NPN output, cable type, dual 4-digit display, 20 µs response, auto-calibration and power-saving modes, for FU-series fibre units.
- CE
- NPN
- Cable type
- Dual display

Overview
The Keyence FS-N series amplifier drives FU-series fibre optic sensor heads for small-part detection, counting and positioning where the sensor must fit into tight spaces or hot environments. The FS-N11N is the cable-type main unit with NPN output: it has a dual display showing received light and threshold, a 20 µs ultra-fast mode, auto-calibration by pressing one button, and an energy-saving mode. Expansion units (FS-N12N) snap on to share power and wiring, and the amplifier automatically compensates for dust and LED ageing. Combined with the extensive FU fibre range — thru-beam, reflective, heat resistant, vacuum, narrow beam — it covers most micro-detection tasks on electronics and packaging lines.
Key features
- Dual 4-digit display (incoming light / threshold), auto-calibration with one button
- Response time selectable down to 20 µs; long-range mode for thru-beam fibres
- NPN output (FS-N11P for PNP), cable type; expansion units FS-N12N
- Dust-compensation (APC) and power-saving modes; timer and hysteresis settings
- Compatible with all Keyence FU fibre units: thru-beam, reflective, heat-resistant, chemical-resistant
Typical applications
- Detection of small components on SMT and assembly lines
- Presence of labels, films and wafers
- Counting objects at high speed
- Detection in hot or confined spaces via fibre units

Frequently asked questions
Which fibre unit do I need with the FS-N11N?
The amplifier is sold without fibres; choose an FU unit by sensing mode (thru-beam or reflective), target size and environment. We help select from the Keyence FU catalogue and quote both.
Can I connect several amplifiers together?
Yes. FS-N12N expansion units clip onto the main unit and share the power supply; up to 16 units can be chained with mutual interference prevention.
Is the FS-N11N available, and what is the lead time?
Typically 1–3 weeks through authorized channels. We confirm with the quotation.
