Overview
The Turck BI5-M18-AP6X-H1141 is a standard M18 flush-mount inductive proximity sensor with 5 mm nominal sensing range, PNP normally-open output and an M12 × 1 connector (H1141). The chrome-plated brass housing is IP67 and the electronics include short-circuit, reverse-polarity and wire-break protection with an LED indicator. Turck's inductive range is one of the broadest available — factor 1 sensors for all metals, uprox+ with extended ranges, high-temperature and washdown versions — and the BI5-M18 remains the general-purpose choice for position detection on machines and conveyors. Compatible M12 cordsets (RK 4.4T, WK 4.4T) are supplied with the sensor.
