Overview
The Turck TBEN-L5-8IOL is a compact, fully encapsulated IO-Link master for mounting directly on the machine, with eight IO-Link Class A ports and automatic detection of the Ethernet protocol — PROFINET, EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP — so one part number covers all three PLC worlds. Each port can also be used as digital input or output, and the 7/8-inch power connection supplies up to 16 A for actuators. The housing is IP65/67/69K with glass-fibre-reinforced PA and a wide -40…+70 °C range, suited to washdown and outdoor use. A web server and Turck's IODD configurator simplify parameterisation, and ARGEE lets the block run small logic locally. The TBEN-L family includes 4-port masters, digital and analog I/O blocks and RFID interfaces.
