Overview
The VEGASWING 63 is a tuning-fork point level switch for liquids with a rigid tube extension from 80 mm to 6 m, used for high- and low-level alarms, overfill and dry-run protection in tanks and pipes. The fork vibrates at its resonant frequency and detects a change when covered by liquid, independent of density (from 0.5 g/cm³), conductivity, foam or turbulence, with no adjustment required. Electronics options include relay, transistor, NAMUR and two-wire 8/16 mA, and the switch carries SIL2 (SIL3 redundant) certification and WHG overfill approval. The example code is a flange-mount 316L version with relay output for a tank high-level alarm.

Does the VEGASWING need calibration for different liquids?
No. The fork detects the covered/uncovered state regardless of the liquid as long as density is above 0.5 g/cm³; only a density switch on the electronics may need setting for very light products.

Yes. The VEGASWING 63 holds WHG approval and SIL2/3 certification and includes a function-test key so proof tests can be done without filling the tank.
