YTA610 Temperature Transmitter
Part number YTA610-JA2DA/KS2/G11
Field-mount single/dual-input temperature transmitter for RTD and thermocouple, 4–20 mA HART 7, sensor backup and drift alarm, SIL2.
- CE
- ATEX
- IECEx
- SIL2
- HART 7

Overview
The YTA610 is Yokogawa's field-mounted temperature transmitter for applications that need a robust housing and local display rather than a head-mount module. It accepts one or two RTD, thermocouple, ohm or mV inputs, with dual-input functions such as sensor backup, differential and average temperature and sensor drift alarm. The input isolation and 2 kV surge protection make it suitable for long cable runs in power and petrochemical plants. With HART 7 and SIL2 certification it fits both control and safety loops; the dual-compartment housing matches the EJA/EJX series so a single spare-parts philosophy covers pressure and temperature points.
Key features
- Single or dual input: Pt100/Pt1000 (2/3/4-wire), thermocouples B, E, J, K, N, R, S, T, ohm and mV
- Sensor backup, differential/average measurement and drift detection with dual inputs
- Accuracy ±0.1 °C (Pt100) with input isolation and 2 kV surge protection
- 4–20 mA HART 7; LCD indicator with 3-button configuration
- SIL2 per IEC 61508; ATEX, IECEx, FM, CSA Ex d/ia approvals; dual-compartment housing
Typical applications
- Field temperature points in refineries and gas plants
- Boiler and turbine temperature monitoring
- Redundant sensors for critical reactors
- Replacement of old pneumatic or analog field transmitters

Frequently asked questions
When should I use a field-mount YTA610 instead of a head-mount transmitter?
Choose the YTA610 when you need a local display, a flameproof housing, long sensor cables or a transmitter mounted away from a hot or vibrating sensor location. Head-mount transmitters are cheaper when the sensor head is accessible.
Does the YTA610 support two sensors at once?
Yes. The dual-input model accepts two RTDs or thermocouples and can output backup, differential or average temperature, and raise a drift alarm when the two readings diverge.
Is the YTA610 available from stock, and what is the lead time?
Typical factory lead time is 3–5 weeks; common Ex d configurations are sometimes available faster from regional stock. We confirm with the quotation.
