Overview
The WIKA TR10-C is the classic process RTD assembly: a connection head (BSZ, BSZ-H or BSS in aluminium or stainless), a replaceable TR10-A measuring insert with a Pt100 element, a neck tube and a threaded thermowell. The insert can be exchanged without opening the process, and the head accepts a T32 or T15 head-mounted transmitter so the assembly delivers 4–20 mA HART directly. Elements are class A or B per IEC 60751 in 3- or 4-wire configuration, single or duplex, with measuring ranges from -200 to +600 °C. Thermowells in 316 or 316L in screw-in, weld-in or flanged designs are selected to the process pressure and velocity; we calculate the wake-frequency check on request. The example is a 1/2 NPT screw-in assembly with TW10 thermowell.

Frequently asked questions
Do you supply the thermowell with the thermometer?
Yes. We quote the assembly complete — head, insert, neck tube and thermowell — matched in length and connection, and provide the wake-frequency (ASME PTC 19.3) calculation for high-velocity lines.
Can I replace the insert without shutting down the process?
Yes. With a thermowell installed, the spring-loaded TR10-A insert is removed through the head while the thermowell keeps the process sealed.
Is the TR10-C available from stock, and what is the lead time?
Standard lengths with Pt100 class A and TW10 thermowell are typically 2–3 weeks; Ex d or flanged versions 4–6 weeks. We confirm with the quotation.
